A Franklin County native, J. Harrison Frantz joins the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center as Livestock Show Manager. Prior to joining the Department of Agriculture and the Farm Show Complex, Harrison held various positions within the oil and gas industry including Associate Landman, Landman, and District Landman for multiple companies throughout the United States. Frantz is a member of the Centre County Farm Bureau, Pennsylvania Draft Horse and Mule Association, Pennsylvania Percheron Association and Penn State Stockmen’s Club. Frantz has a true passion for the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and its three mainlivestock and dairy shows, which include the All-American Dairy Show, the Keystone International Livestock Exposition (K.I.L.E.), and the Pennsylvania Farm Show.Frantz is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences. While attending Penn State, he was an active member of the Penn State Blue Band, the Block and Bridle Club, and the Equine Judging Team. Frantz also worked at the Penn State Equine barn as a student barn hand.
